PennWhite attend Europe’s largest chemical trade show
We’re in Cologne this week for the 39th edition of Chemspec, Europe’s premier international exhibition for the fine and speciality chemicals industry.
Our CEO Tobias Tasche is at the exhibition on 6th & 7th of May and is looking forward to meeting existing and future business partners to discuss opportunities to enhance our supplier base, to develop new partnerships for innovation and sustainability, and to find new partners to bring our foam control solutions to a wider customer base.

PennWhite announces Grand Opening of India Plant
Earlier this week we officially opened PennWhite India, our new manufacturing facility in Chennai, India.
The inauguration was attended by a wide range of invited guests. Before their arrival, an early morning Pooja took place, a spiritual celebration of the beginning of PennWhite India’s journey.
Later, our guests enjoyed a facility tour and lunch before the official ribbon cutting was performed by Devaki Muthiah Chardon (Chairperson of PennWhite Limited) in the presence of guests including R Chandrasekar (Managing Director & CEO, @Manali), Tobias Tasche (CEO PennWhite Limited & Director, PennWhite India Pvt Ltd) and N. Senthilkumar (Head of Business, PennWhite India Pvt Ltd).

PennWhite India welcomes UK specialists to Chennai
PennWhite India recently welcomed two specialists from our UK plant to our new manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, to assist in the implementation of its quality and food safety systems.
David Bullock (Quality & Food Safety Manager) worked with the PennWhite India team and local consultants to ensure that the plant will shortly be ready for the certification of its Quality Management System to ISO 9001. David also helped the local team prepare for upcoming halal and kosher audits and worked on the site’s HACCP program, the foundation of its food safety system.
Technical Manager Dr David Kennedy spent time supporting the team commissioning the brand-new laboratory and ensuring product release and acceptance standards align with those established in the UK. During the week in Chennai, he also met with colleagues and customers to discuss the varied applications and the advanced technical characteristics of our foam control agents.
Commissioning of the plant is now complete and a grand opening will take place on 29th of April. This state-of-the-art facility will enable PennWhite to serve the growing needs of the Indian market for high performance foam control.

PennWhite visit Paint India in Mumbai
PennWhite was at Paint India in Mumbai last week. The annual expo is India’s leading platform for paints, coatings, inks and associated chemicals and has been running for over 30 years.
PennWhite India’s Head of Sales & Marketing Ramesh Ramar and Sales & Marketing Manager Dhriti SK met with coatings manufacturers to discuss their foam control needs and how the antifoams manufactured at our new Chennai plant help optimise plant efficiency, improve process control and give busy plant managers peace of mind.
