PennWhite welcome Chairperson to our India plant
PennWhite recently welcomed the Chairperson of the PennWhite Board to our new India manufacturing plant as it nears completion.
Chairperson Devaki Muthiah Chardon inspected the work in progress and the final stages of mechanical installation with Senthilkumar Kneelakandan, the site operations manager for PennWhite India. Devaki congratulated our team in India on their progress so far and reiterated the important role that PennWhite India will play in our global growth strategy once operational. Commissioning of the plant is now underway and trial batches are expected to be produced in the coming weeks.

PennWhite mark 40 years of customer service
We’re marking our y40th anniversary this year and a few months ago we gathered on two continents to celebrate.
Our UK based team visited Cranage Hall in Cheshire for an alfresco lunch in the early Autumn sunshine followed by an afternoon of outdoor team games organised by KDM Events. CEO Tobias Tasche took the opportunity to thank PennWhite staff past and present, the business founders and our current owners Manali Petrochemicals and AM International for their work and support over the last four decades.
On the same day around 8,000km away, the team establishing our new India plant took time out to meet in Chennai for lunch, before heading to one of the many nearby beaches along the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal to celebrate our 40th year.

PennWhite achieve milestone at new India plant
We’re working closely with engineers and contractors to fit out our new manufacturing plant in India. Producing specialist foam control solutions manufactured to international standards in one of Asia’s biggest and fastest-growing economies is a key part of our global growth strategy.
Last week, PennWhite’s CEO Tobias Tasche congratulated Senthilkumar Neelakandan, Head of Operations – India (oposite, left) and Mo Farah, Operations Manager UK, and their teams on completion of the mechanical construction of the plant. Further work on automation and commissioning will happen in the coming weeks. The achievement is a significant milestone on our journey to provide high performance foam control for our customers in the region.

PennWhite celebrate 4 years without a Lost Time Incident
We’re celebrating four years without a lost time incident (LTI) at our UK site.
Those four years have seen a significant investment in three key aspects of our Health & Safety program; our plant, processes and people. This investment, supported by the diligence of individuals and cross-team cooperation, has been a crucial part of reaching this milestone. To mark the occasion, HSE Manager David Cowap (left) accepted a commemorative plaque on behalf of the PennWhite team from CEO Tobias Tasche.
