Pennwhite are Back in the Office
Following the end of the latest UK Covid-19 lockdown a few weeks ago, our administration team have returned to the office. Initially, they’ll be working on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. We’re still taking appropriate Covid precautions, so their days on site will be spread out to ensure we don’t have too many people in the office at one time. The direct-dial contact numbers displayed on our home page will remain in use, so please continue to use them when you need to call us. Our production, technical and warehouse teams have been working on site throughout the pandemic and are looking forward to welcoming their colleagues back to our Middlewich facilcity.
Pennwhite’s New ISO 9001:2015 Certificate 2021-24
Following a successful remote recertifcation audit earlier this month, we have received our new ISO 9001:2015 certificate from Intertek Certification Ltd. PennWhite’s Quality Management System has now been certified to ISO 9001, or its predecessors since the year 2000.
Pennwhite Certified Kosher for 20th Year
Following an audit of our procedures, raw materials and practices, the Manchester Beth Din have certified 92 of our FoamDoctor food-grade foam control agents kosher and parev.
As in 2020, the audit under lockdown was a little different than usual and took place remotely (we’re looking forward to seeing the Rabbi in person next year!). Our new 12-month certifcate represents the 20th anniversary of our first kosher certifcation by the Manchester Beth Din.
Pennwhite Halal Certificate 2021-22
Following an intensive remote audit of our operations and products, the London based Halal Food Authority (HFA) has recertified 28 of our FoamDoctor food-grade foam control agents, and our production facility, as halal. A copy of our new 2021-22 certificate, which includes details of the approved products.
We will be submitting more FoamDoctor products to the HFA for their approval over the next few months and hope to eventually offer a range of halal certified products similar in scope to our kosher range which currently stands at 92 products.
PennWhite Support Charity Golf Day
PennWhite is happy to announce its support of a Charity Golf Day organised by Supportability, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities (registered charity 1009768).
We’ll be entering a team in the event at Heaton Moor Golf Club near Stockport on 9th July as well as sponsoring the spot prizes on every hole.
